How to Maintain Stained Concrete Floors
Mop the floor regularly. You can even swipe it every morning or afternoon to clean any dust from the floor. However, if you don’t want to mop every day, we suggest you to place floor mats in front of the door. It will be a filter toward dust. People will enter the room with clean shoes. To clean stained concrete floors, we will need soft or microfiber mop. At first, do it in dry mode. Then, after the dust is cleared, continue the job with damp mop. If you want, you can use mild cleaner solution.
Mop all parts of the floor. Make sure that there is no dust or dirt left on the floor. Check too, whether the mild cleaner is free from ammonia or not. Remember, ammonia, vinegar, and bleach will give corrosive effects to the flooring. Once in several months or years, you can refinish the floor to get brand new look.
